The Desert Rose
The lodge is situated within wonderful landscaped gardens where you can take in marvelous sunsets and a superb clear night sky with sparkling stars. The gardens include a small organic orchard with mango, banana, guava, orange, palm, olive and pomegranate trees and a small farm with organically grown vegetables. There is ample parking for cars and coaches.
All the Desert Rose rooms are large doubles which also include good size sofa beds. Each room is tastefully furnished in the old Colonial style and has its own high quality modern en-suite bathroom. Rooms also have small terraces with spectacular views over the Desert Rose gardens.
During the winter months, room heating can be installed upon request. A full housekeeping service with rooms cleaned daily is included along with a 24hr front desk.
Pasha Restaurant provides unlimited food for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Additionally, there is an outdoor café which also serves locally produced food along with a variety of teas and Arabic coffee.

The Bahariya Oasis
Bahariya Oasis is 350 kilometers from 6th of October City, just outside of Cairo, and has a lot to offer for people who like adventurous and unique locations.
Egypt’s famous and stunning White Desert is only an hour away and is included as part of our Desert Safaris.
Bahariya Oasis is famed for its dates, olives and lush palm groves and is surrounded by hot and cold springs and black hills giving it the local nickname of “Black Desert”.
Bahariya Oasis is known for its sunny dry weather through winter and summer. Its natural Roman springs (cold and hot) flow sulphurous water and are known for their therapeutic qualities for conditions such as psoriasis and rheumatism.
There are several temples that are mostly now in ruins such as the Temple of Alexander and the Temple of Ain al-Muftela
