Another wonderful way to experience Bedouin life is by spending several days in the desert with a local Bedouin guide. Starting from the lush Bahariya Oasis, you will journey through the extraordinary and ever-changing landscapes of the Western Desert while discovering the traditions of a people who have lived in the desert for centuries.
The Bedouins accompanying you prepare delicious, freshly cooked traditional meals over an open fire. In the evenings, you gather around the campfire to enjoy traditional tea, music, and stories. You sleep beneath a sky filled with thousands of stars or, if you prefer, in a tent and become one with the rhythm of nature.
You will explore the desert on foot, by 4WD jeep, and on the back of a camel, travelling through vast and breathtaking landscapes. A local guide is always by your side, leading you to hidden places, water sources, and special locations that reveal the true beauty and spirit of the desert.
